As the Open starts on Thursday the 16th of July, we’re in a golfing mood this week! When you’re training for golf, it’s about developing a full range of movement and improving flexibility, rotation, stability and core strength. With this in mind, we’ve developed a circuit style workout for golfers.
Perform 12-15 reps of each exercise, with minimum rest between them. Once you reach the end of the circuit, relax for 60 seconds and then repeat.
- Cable Rotations
- DB Curtsy Lunge
- Kettlebell Swing
- Russian Twists
- DB Inclined Chest Press
- DB Single Arm Row & Kick Back
- Slam Ball Slams
- Single Legged Deadlift
- Hanging Knee Raises
- 30seconds Boxing – Jabs & Hooks (if you don’t have a punch bag, use light dumbbells)
