Personal Training Success Stories – Liz O’Shea

It’s that time again here at motive8 North, time to choose our Personal Training Client of the Month. It’s always hard to choose as all of our client’s work their socks off! This month, I’ve chosen my personal training client Liz O’Shea.

I started training Liz just over 2 years ago and when she first started training she wanted to lose a bit of weight and look more toned and fit into her clothes better. Dare I say it, Liz would probably have been one of those people, who if she mentioned to her friends that she had a personal trainer they would question why as she was already in great shape!

Whilst Liz was in good shape, there wasn’t much structure to her training and her food wasn’t the greatest. So with some tweaking to her training regime and constant weekly evaluation of her food, we dropped Liz’ body fat by 7% (her overall weight loss was only lbs which shows you it’s not just about the scales!) and she also lost 17 inches, resulting in Liz going from a size 10 to a size 8.

What I love about Liz is her consistency and that she prioritises her healthy lifestyle. She has maintained these results for the last 18 months or so , a task which many people find harder than losing weight/body fat/inches itself, and this is because she is consistent with her training and diet. Liz has a demanding job and family life, yet still manages time to train at least 4 times a week and follow a healthy diet, still religiously keeping those food diaries to keep her on track over two years later and the results speak for themselves!
