Motive8 North Monthly Winners

At motive8 North we like to celebrate our client’s and member’s success! We are extremely proud of everything everyone achieves….sometimes success is simply getting to the gym on the days when you could have gone back to bed or the pub instead of the gym! So well to everyone who comes to motive8 North….keep focused on those goals and keep smiling!

Here are this June’s Class Member, Gym Member and Personal Training Client of the month. Well done to all our winners! You all receive a £10 Voucher!

How long have you been attending classes at Marshall Court?

Since February

Which classes do you attend?

I try to do a couple of the lunchtime classes per week and fit them around work so could be Monday, Wednesday or Friday or all three!

What is your favourite class and why?

I like all of them! They are all really varied and I think that’s what keeps them interesting and challenging.

What is your favourite exercise?

I tend to like most ab exercises because they make me feel nice and toned. I also enjoy flipping the tyre, it feels like a full body work out and therefore every flip is an achievement – especially as when I first started I couldn’t actually do it at all!

What is your least favourite exercise?

I don’t like squat jumps and I’m not the biggest fan of burpees. Anything with jumping is hard! But worst of all, despite what I said above about ab exercises, is the salmon plank!! Horrible!

Why do motive8 classes differ from any other classes you have attended?

I think the variety from class to class is brilliant. There is always a new exercise, a new routine or a new challenge and therefore a new ache the next day! I also really enjoy the banter – so much nicer than other classes I have been to where everyone is really serious and no one looks each other in the eye.

Gym Member of the Month – Nadia Shafaq

This months gym member of the month is Nadia Shafaq! Nadia is not only a member of the gym but all has personal training sessions with Kate. Over the last 2 months Nadia has been working really hard independently in the gym and has definitely caught the fitness bug!

How long have you been a member of the motive8 gym?

I have been at motive8 gym for 2 months

Why do you train at the motive8 gym?

I first started personal training with Kate and I thought the atmosphere was great. There is a lot of motivation from the trainers whilst you’re working out. I used to train at another gym but it was far too busy. I found motive8 more convenient as I only work 10 minutes away.

What was your goal when you started at the gym?

My goal when starting the gym was to lose weight and give my body a shape and with the great help of Kate I’m doing really well.

What is your current goal?

My current goal is to lose a stone

What’s your biggest accomplishment since you have been training?

Since training at motive8 my whole mindset of food and keeping fit has changed. Ive realised how important it is to stay healthy and fit and I love how personalised my workouts are….. I love training now!
