As someone going through the menopause myself (Kate), I understand first-hand how much it helps to be able to speak about it openly and honestly. And trust me – it doesn’t always come easily; it sometimes feels embarrassing and uncomfortable to discuss, it feels like I’m just using a boat load of excuses, and worst of all, it often feels quite isolating.

Like with Mental Health, the increase we are seeing at the moment in public and national conversations about the menopause is much needed.

But now I feel that there is almost too much information available! Eat this, not that; exercise this way and not that; supplement with this, not that, HRT or herbal…. how can we decipher what is the best way forward?!

Well, as a commitment to myself and to any clients (existing or new), I’m getting qualified to help! I’ve already completed nutrition and exercise strategy courses for menopause. Just recently I completed a “Massage for Menopause” course.. and there’s more to come so watch this space!
