Have you ever been in a gym where you notice one person who just comes in, gets on with it and smashes their workouts? Well the team here at motive8 (and some of our clients!) have noticed Bhavini and that’s why she gets a massive shout out as member of the month.
How long have you been training at motive8?
I’ve been training at motive8 for 7 weeks!
What were your goals when you first started?
My goals when I first started were to primarily lose weight. Since then my goals have changed massively. The team at motive8 and really helped me to plan programmes and target certain areas of my body through strength training as opposed to just focusing on cardio. I’ve learnt a lot about strength training and metabolism and have even started to use what used to initially seem like really scary gym equipment.
What advice would you give to someone looking to start their fitness journey?
If I could give any advice to someone who is looking to start their fitness journey I would say be open and honest about what you want to achieve and how you plan to get there. Don’t be afraid of admitting you don’t really know where to start. Everyone at motive8 has welcomed me with open arms and taught me so much about how to do effective workouts through strength training and cardio.
