Jess has her personal training sessions with Ieuan at motive8 North, and has been nominated as our personal training client of the month in December 2015.

When Jess first started her personal training sessions, her goals were to lose weight and improve her body composition. Here is how Ieuan has helped Jess achieve her goals…..

With a busy lifestyle sometimes getting in the way of nutrition we made sure our PT sessions (twice a week) left nothing to chance when achieving her goals. Jess trains regularly with me and she has always been a pleasure to train. She turns up to every session full of enthusiasm, energy, and a great mix of music choices. Even on the days when work has been hard, days have been long, and the last thing she needs is to be “beasted” for an hour, she comes in smiling and gets through it. There is always the odd “dislike” to specific exercises (mainly burpees) but she even complains with a smile on her face.

In terms of her progress she has always stuck at her sessions and her body composition and strength have improved massively. She has dropped nearly 4kg of body fat and only just over 1/2kg of lean mass and has a total loss of 15 inches throughout her whole body measures. Her biggest drops came in the thighs, waist, abdominals, and hips. Her lower body strength is phenomenal with her making 60kg deadlifts and squats look very easy for several reps (with more weight in the tank). As it wasn’t part of her goal we never really pushed too much on the strength side, but I believe Jess has great potential when it comes to physical strength.
