Making the initial contact with a personal trainer must be a daunting experience, especially if you are new to exercise. It’s easy to think that everyone who has a personal trainer will be svelte and super fit but believe me this isn’t always the case.
Our personal trainers inLeedswork with all walks of life and you should always remember that everyone has started somewhere. Someone who is now able to run 10k might not have been able to run for 1 minute during their first personal training session and you should use these people as inspiration. One day in the near future you will be able to achieve goals like this too!
It’s also a misconception that everyone who had a personal trainer wants to lose weight. Whilst we do specialise in weight loss at ourLeedspersonal training studio, there is absolutely nothing with wanting to exercise to simply look after your health and improve your fitness and energy levels.
Our personal training studio inLeedsis very personal and private, much less intimidating than a big mainstream gym, especially if you are conscious about exercising in front of other people. Yes, there maybe a few other people working out at the same time as you but believe me they won’t give two hoots about what you’re doing….they’ll be too busy working hard themselves!
The most important thing to remember is that we understand that everyone is an individual, which is why all of our sessions are tailor made for you, no one else….just you! We will take into account your goals, your exercise history, your medical history and your fitness levels. And when it feels like we have stepped things up a bit take it as a compliment…..it means your personal trainer thinks you’re getting fitter!
