With Christmas quickly approaching, it’s not always possible to get down to your usual gym or workout spot. To help balance out the festive indulgence Maddie has put together a full-body workout that you can do in the comfort of your own home, without any equipment! And yes, she’s also added in Christmas burpees! Give it a go, you’ll be surprised!
Warm up (repeat 3 times):
10x Bodyweight lunges
10x Standing spinal twists
10x Star jumps
Circuit 1 (repeat 4 times):
12x press-ups
45s squat pulses
20x mountain climbers (each side)
20x ab cycles (each side)
Circuit 2 (repeat 4 times):
10x burpees
60s wall-sit
12x tricep dips (use a chair, or even a low table!)
45s high knees
Circuit 3 (repeat 4 times):
60s plank raises
10x curtsey lunge (each side)
60s arm rotations (smaller circles the better)
5x walk-outs
