As we look ahead to planning our Motive8 Boot Camps for next year, it’s nice also to look back on the sessions that we held in 2016. It’s great listening to feedback and looking at photographs and videos so that we can finely tune appropriately. But in order to show you what you missed out on, here is a snippet of a workout from one of the body weight conditioning sessions….and I’ll be honest – I LOVE THIS!
Sometimes people under estimate how hard body weight workouts can be – but if you push yourself they can be AWESOME. Make sure you warm up first! You need to mark out 100meters – or a large room will do! Rest for 30 seconds between each exercise. There are only 5 exercises – what have you got to loose?
Exercise 1:
Sprint and 10x Squats, Sprint 9x Squats and 8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 – finish with a sprint
Exercise 2:
Lunge Walk and 5x Burpees, Lunge Walk 4 Burpees and 3,2,1 – finish with a lunge walk
Exercise 3:
5x Forward Jumps and Crawl Backwards, 4x Forward Jumps and Crawl and 3,2,1
Exercise 4:
10 High Knees and 10 x Press Ups, 10 High Knees and 9x Press Ups and 8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 – finish with 10 high knees
Exercise 5: (you need a step or stairs!)
10x Box Jumps or Step Ups and 10 x Tricep Dips, 10 Jumps or Steps and 9 Tricep Dips and 8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 – finish with 10 Jumps or Steps
