Over the years the mud run assault courses have become ever more popular for people to run as a team event or individually. It’s a great way to challenge yourself and do something a bit different than running around your local park.
Mud runs involve a combination of endurance, strength and determination to battle the elements. One thing I have found interesting is the number of people who have been surprised at how much they actually enjoy them. I know people who have got roped into it for a charity event claiming the thought was their worst nightmare and it turned out they loved it and have completed many more since!
There are mud runs available for everyone with varying distances and challenges. The next big mud run to hit Leeds is The Total Warrior at Bramham Park on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th June. Total Warrior has obstacles such as the Human BBQ, The Plunge, You Tube, Hang Tough and The Shocker to name a few. This year’s Total Warrior team are boasting some new obstacles over the 12k course tailored to the beautiful setting of Bramham Park. The Total Warrior. So why not get your trainers mucky and enter a team to push yourself and have some fun!
