If you’re looking for somewhere to go this weekend then why not pop and explore the beautiful surroundings at Yeadon Tarnfield Park situated 16 miles North-West of Leeds City Centre. The park is an astonishing 17 hectares in area. Wow!

There are many attractions for all ages including the Tarn itself where you can go for a nice walk and an adventure playground to tire out the little ones. As well as a number of scenic walks there is a great BMX track for biking skills to be put to the test.

If you’re looking for something a but more adventurous then the Leeds Sailing and Activity Centre may be right up your street with a number of water sport activities.

Or if fishing is your thing then spend a day on the Tarn, however you do need to get a ticket in advance from the Aireborough and District Angling Association, please contact them on telephone number 01532 784 445.

Car Parks: There are three car parks located at the following sites: adjacent to the Tarn activity centre off Town Street; to the south west of the park off Cemetery Road and at the North West of the park off Cemetery Road.

Disabled parking: Disabled parking available in the Tarn activity centre car park off Town Street. All paths and entrances are wheelchair accessible.

Yeadon Tarn is a great place for everyone and all ages, take advantage of the Spring weather and get outdoors!
