With Christmas a week away its definitely time to get into the festive spirit. Whether you’re young or old a trip to the theatre around Christmas can be a great chance to get in the festive mood!
We are lucky that Leeds offers a number of venues with some fantastic performances, so here is what Leeds has to offer this Christmas.
Leeds Town Hall 20th December
The Snowman and Paddington Bear’s First Christmas
This Sunday delight your family with a double-bill of classic musical stories, The Snowman and Paddington Bear. The shows are accompanied by a live orchestra, a great way to introduce the orchestra to your children. The Snowman will be shown on a big screen with the orchestra injecting tingle-down-the-spine magic into ‘Walking in the Air’ which was the soundtrack of my childhood.
