At the end of the day loosing fat around your stomach boils down to the having correct balance of calories in and out. Now while a calorie is a calorie no matter what food group it comes from, some foods are by far greater fat offenders than others.
Add these five crucial tips to help your fat loss mission;
- REMOVE high fructose corn syrup from your diet- commonly found in pop, cereals and juices, this is basically a weight gainer and serves no nutritional benefit, it is even worse than eating sugar!
- WATCH dressings and condiments- Most salad dressing are just fats and sugars, so that lovely healthy salad is being ruined by your taste buds! Stick to natural condiments like olive oil and vinegars.
- STOP EATING cheese– Cheese is very energy dense; eating 100 calories of cheese won’t fill you up nowhere near as much as 100 calories of vegetables or lean protein. Fill up on energy sparse but nutritionally dense foods; you can eat almost 6 times more!
- DODGE white flour– this basically just spikes blood sugar, and therefore insulin increase, this leads to rapid weight gain, stick to complex carbohydrates, if your stuck look through the motive8 weekly recipes.
- DRINK little to non alcohol– Every gram of alcohol you drink adds seven calories to your daily intake, and unlike fats, carbs and protein your body has no use for alcohol. It is therefore turned into adipose around your waist
