Szechuan Chicken Recipe
Serves 4
331 calories, 56 from fat
Excellent high protein low fat meal, great for heavy helping recover from a workout.
Ingredients
4 Chicken Breasts, boneless and skinless, cut into cubes
3 tbsp corn flour
4 garlic cloves
5 tbsp soy sauce
1 ½ tbsp white wine vinegar
1/4 cup water
1 tsp sugar
3 spring onions, sliced and cut into ½ inch diagonals
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
Method:
- Place the chicken and cornflour into a bowl, and toss to coat. Heat a wok over a medium-high heat. Fry the chicken pieces and garlic, stirring constantly until lightly browned. Stir in the soy sauce, vinegar, sugar and water.
- Stir in the green onions, and cayenne pepper, cook uncovered for about 2 more minutes. Serve over wholegrain rice.
