It won’t surprise you that most people approach a personal trainer for motivation and guidance about the best way to achieve their goals, and this is something we excel at. The reason for our success? For us it’s about the complete approach to your training and the level of support we give you. We don’t just turn up, put you through your paces for an hour and then say good bye! Yes, we do put you through your paces but your sessions are complimented with nutritional plans, personalised exercise programmes, lots of education, (we believe you will stick to your regime more if you know why you doing what you are doing!) and most importantly regular contact from your PT to keep you focused!
We believe this is the difference which achieves fantastic results with our clients. We don’t believe in quick fixes and short cuts, as in the long term these don’t work. But what we do believe in is hard work, fun workouts and educating our clients about the best ways to get optimum results.
Many people view personal training as a luxury and something which not everyone can afford. However, you can’t put a price on your health and if you are willing to invest some money into improving your health and quality of life then we think it is money well spent! By investing in a motive8 trainer you will get the extra attention you deserve than if you just joined the gym and this will get the results you want.
Before your first session we will meet for a complimentary consultation so we can discuss your goals in greater depth and we can explain what we will be doing in your sessions. If you decide that personal training isn’t for you after this consultation then no problem.
If you do decide to book your first personal training session we can guarantee you will not regret this decision! During your first personal training session we will perform an initial set of measurements which will allow us to set your long and short term goals. We will perform these measurements every 6 weeks to ensure that you are on track to achieving your long term goal. These measurements are one of the most important things we will do, as without these we cannot track your progress. How great will it feel to know you have lost 5 inches from your waist?!
Measurements include – body fat percentage, biosignature measurements to assess how hormones may be affecting where you store body fat, circumference measurements, cardiovascular testing, weight, body mass index, blood pressure, resting heart rate.
Your sessions will be complimented with regular bespoke training programmes and you will receive a copy of the motive8 Nutritional Plan which focuses on a healthy diet of high protein, good fats and low Glyecemic Index carbohydrates.
We have two state of the art personal training studios in Leeds, one at Marshalls Court which is a short 5-10 minute walk away from the City Centre and one at Saxton, on the edge of Leeds City Centre near the bus station. If you would prefer us to come to you then no problem! We provide home personal training or can train in your office or local park. We deliver Personal Training in Leeds and surrounding areas*

Our personal training sessions and nutritional plans are tailored to each client we work with, based around their goals and their lifestyle and commitments. We appreciate that everyone is not the same, and therefore we will create a bespoke training plan specifically for you and your goals. Your training sessions will progress as your strength and fitness progresses, this will allow us to challenge your body in new ways and continue to see further results.
EDUCATION IS KEY
We are big believers in educating our clients about why they are doing what they are doing. Education empowers you to make healthy lifestyle choices and if you know why you are doing something you are more likely to stick to it in the long term, resulting in your new healthy lifestyle becoming a permanent lifestyle change.

I’VE NOT HAD A PERSONAL TRAINER BEFORE…. DO I HAVE TO BE SUPER FIT?
Don’t be worried if you haven’t had a personal trainer before, many people assume you have to be super fit to have a personal trainer but this certainly isn’t the case. Of course our clients are uber fit by the time we have finished with them but our team of personal trainers have a huge experience of working with both exercise newbies and experienced exercisers. We appreciate that walking into an exercise studio can be a daunting experience but we will be there to guide you every step of the way.
